Yes!  I want your buying experience to be easy, informed and fabulous! Here’s how:

Each item that I create is lovingly crafted with meticulous care in my smoke free studio here at Yes and Yay HQ.

Your new purchase will be carefully packaged and shipped, using environmentally friendly materials. I include information with your purchase so you will know how to care for your art and you can always access my Fiber Care page on my website.  The link is also located on my website sidebar under Helpful Resources.

Your Purchase, Secure Payments and Your Privacy

Shop with confidence! I accept credit card payments through Stripe.  This method is secure, immediate and easy to use, which means that I can send you my colorful art more quickly!

My site is PCI compliant and has an up-to-date SSL certificate which means your shopping cart and check out page is always encrypted and secure.  (Look for the green lock and “https//” on the web address bar – this signals to you that the page is secure).

I respect and safeguard your privacy:

I do not collect or store any credit card information via my website (or anywhere else). Your data is transferred via a securely encrypted form, and your payment data is never collected by my website, nor ever seen by me.

When you make a purchase from my website, I print out a paper copy of your address, email and purchase details so that I can ship my art to you.  I store this paper copy in a locked filing cabinet as reference for my year end accounting/tax reporting only.  I never share your sales receipt and personal information with anyone, ever.

Sales Tax

I collect and report sales tax for all purchases to Washington State residents.  Per our state law, sales tax is calculated on the total cost of product(s) plus shipping.

I do not collect sales tax for out of state purchases.  (You may need to report and pay sales tax on your purchases depending on your local taxing authority).


I give US customers the choice to ship purchases via First Class Mail (arrives in 2-6 days) or USPS Priority Mail (arrives in 2-3 days).  I track and confirm the arrival of your package with either shipping method –  hooray!

Plus!  I offer free U.S. First Class Mail shipping for item totals over $40  This is the total amount of your products **after ** any discounts or gift cards have been applied** to your order, and before sales tax (if applicable) is added to the total.  For instance,  if you place two delightful items in your shopping cart and the item total is $49 – you will receive free shipping.  However, if you then apply a coupon code or gift card code to reduce your item total to $35, you would not qualify for free shipping.     

If you live in Port Townsend, WA (zip is 98368) you may select “Studio Pick up as your shipping option – which, of course, is no charge! ; )

Once I receive your payment,  I ship Moxie Shop items (which are in stock and ready to go!) within 4 days…and typically, much more quickly.

If I am out of town (on a secret Delight Detective mission!) I will place an alert at the top of my website with dates and details on shipping out orders.   I will also contact you ASAP with an estimated date for shipping your order.

For custom Moxie Power cuff orders,  I will create and ship your one of a kind design within 2 weeks, once we have confirmed your beautiful cuff details. (If, for any reason I am experiencing a back-log of custom design work, I will let you know this during our design process and give you a specific timeline for your special Moxie Power cuff!)

Once I ship your package, I’ll send you a confirmation email letting you know that your colorful art purchase is en route.

While I have every confidence in the United States Postal Service, once the package leaves my studio, I cannot guarantee against the loss or damage of the item due to shipper/carrier error.  However, the good news is that each package I send out has tracking confirmation….and I am a fabulous sleuth!

Are you sending the purchase as a gift?

International Orders and Shipping

If you wish to place an order for international delivery – hooray! I’m happy to assist you! Please contact me with the item(s) you wish to purchase and your shipping information. I will contact you with a shipping rate quotation and assist you with placing your order.


I am committed to using environmentally friendly, attractive packaging. I wrap all pieces in eco-friendly tissue paper and/or fabric to protect your purchase, and ship without a bunch of extra packing materials.


I make every effort to create high quality pieces that will delight you!

If you decide to return an item, please contact me within seven (7) days of receipt and we’ll work out the return arrangements.

Once I respond to your return request, please ship the item back within 10 days, in its original packaging, at your own expense, and with delivery confirmation.

Since most of my pieces are one of a kind, they must be returned in their original, pristine condition.  Thank you!

Moxie Powered Messenger Subscription and your privacy:

I give my website visitors the opportunity to subscribe to my newsletter, The Moxie Power Messenger, and welcome each one of you into our friendly, inclusive and creative-minded community.

My newsletter sign up forms are sprinkled throughout my website and each one clearly states that you are indeed, subscribing to my newsletter.  I use a clear double opt-in process that involves one more step to confirm your subscription, giving you the choice to change your mind and not subscribe.  Each newsletter that I send to my community of subscribers (via MailChimp), gives you the opportunity to change your subscription preferences or unsubscribe.

I never ever share your name and email information with anyone, ever, ever, ever!  I think of my subscribers as dear friends who enjoy reading about my creative adventures, DIY tutorials, inspiring links and studio news.  I consider my newsletter content as a spark that may ignite lively conversations, encourage more experimenting and making, sweep away those pesky self-doubts that hold us back, inspire more ideas and above all, expand our friendly universe.  Yay!

Color variation

I do my best to accurately photograph and describe all listings, but the colors may not be exactly as they appear on your computer screen. I shall happily provide you with additional descriptive information.
