Taking care of your fiber art purchases
Your fiber art purchase is a hand made, one of kind art piece…and will last many years if you treat it with a bit of TLC.
2nd Ewes Felted Art Ware Purses
Please spot clean only using a brush or dry/damp cloth. You may use a sweater de-fuzzing tool to remove any stray bits of wool that may appear on your piece.
Please do not machine wash your purse! It may distort, shrink and/or continue to felt. Many of my purses feature vintage buttons: they do not fare well with chemical cleaners, so please wipe them gently with a damp cloth to clean.
2nd Ewes Felted Art Ware Sculptures
Please treat your sculpture gently. Spot clean or dust as needed with a barely damp cloth. If possible, display your new sculpture away from direct sunlight.
While many of my embellished sculptures are whimsical, they are not meant to be used as toys for children or pets. Please be sure to keep your sculpture away from curious, hands and mouths.
2nd Ewes Felted Cuff Bracelets and Felt Pins
Please treat your Moxie and/or Florabunda felted cuff bracelets and pins as wearable fiber art pieces. Spot clean them as needed with a damp cloth. If they become very soiled, you may swish them very gently in a cold water bath using a mild wool wash soap such as Eucalan or Forever New Ovation Liquid.
Please be especially careful with the vintage buttons and beaded embellishments– please do not allow them to soak in water as they may become damaged or weakened. Vintage buttons detest chemicals and may discolor or cry out in dismay. (Just kidding about that last part). Allow the fiber cuff bracelet or pin to air dry.
Fiber Art Purses and Abundance Wallets
My colorful purses that feature hand painted fabrics, fabric transfers and embellishments may be gently spot cleaned with a damp cloth.
I create each piece of art with love and care - for your lasting enjoyment!
